Our History
Founded in 2010, CPM OB-GYN has grown to become a trusted name in women's health care in the Norcross and Cumming areas. With over a decade of service, our practice has helped countless women achieve their health goals, whether it's a healthy pregnancy, effective contraception, or managing menopause symptoms.
Our Team

Alan P. Gerber, MD
Dr. Alan P. Gerber is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than four decades of experience providing comprehensive women's healthcare. Since beginning his career in 1986, he has cared for thousands of patients across Georgia, Florida, and Maryland, with extensive expertise in both office-based obstetrics and gynecology and hospital-based maternal care.
Dr. Gerber earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland and has been board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1988. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
His professional interests include high-risk obstetrics, general gynecology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, hysteroscopy, urogynecology, ultrasound, and menopause management.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gerber enjoys spending time with his wife and their eleven grandchildren. His hobbies include sailing, cycling, hiking, traveling, woodworking, and model railroading.
Taylor Hearn, DNP, WHNP-BC
Taylor Hearn, DNP, WHNP-BC is a dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care to women throughout every stage of life. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Taylor specializes in women's health, preventive care, prenatal and postpartum care, contraception counseling, and patient education. She is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel empowered, informed, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.
Known for her approachable nature and strong commitment to evidence-based care, Taylor strives to build meaningful relationships with her patients while promoting overall wellness and long-term health.
Outside of her professional role, Taylor enjoys traveling, exploring her passion for cars, and spending quality time with family and friends.
